The designer-duo Klaus Unrath and Ivan Strano presented their new line "UNRATH & STRANO Celebrity" during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. For the first time the label is including a small collection of men's fashions. It includes about twenty items, ranging from casual jeans and denim jackets to more classic blazers, blousons, shirts and slacks. UNRATH & STRANO stands for designs which are unique in cut and fit, using luxurious materials such as hand-embroidered and digitally-printed fabrics to fashion clothes that make a real statement. The audience, among others celebrities like Barbara Schöneberger, Katharina Witt or Helen Schneider were enthusiastic about the colourful and sexy creations and had a long party-night with the the designer-duo at the Motorola-Style Night Aftershow.

Aimed at a younger crowd, the clothes in the "UNRATH & STRANO Celebrity" line are made of fabrics like printed cotton, denim and rayon with a satiny finish - glamorous, yet practical enough for every day wear. As Klaus Unrath says: "We wanted to make clothes that are unfussy and affordable, but still feature the sophisticated cuts we are known for." The collection includes cocktail dresses in solid pink and red, casual T-shirt dresses styled like oversize men's undershirts, jeans and loose-fitting shirts. White, silver, gray, black and beige are the prevailing colors, appearing both in stripes and solids, with snakeskin-inspired patterns and seductive orchid prints providing eye-catching accents.

UNRATH & STRANO has also extended its range of accessories to include belts, large silk foulards and bags. The label also includes simple shirts and shorties as underclothes and swimwear in powerful shades such as red, neon pink and gold. In cooperation with the luxury pearl brand Schoeffel, the design duo is also offering custom-made shoes fashioned from real snakeskin and hand embroidered with pearls.
